Homes Providing 24-Hour Support
These homes provide support to small groups of people who choose to live together. Spread throughout our geographic area, these households, many of which are wheelchair accessible, are supported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. People's unique array of services are designed through Individual Service Plans or the Person-Centered Planning process. Skill building, community membership, and increased independence are typical areas of focus in these homes, which serve over 90 people.

Individual Support
Beaverbrook STEP provides services to over 30 people who reside in one or two bedroom apartments of their own. Staff support ranges from two hours per week to 24 hours per day, depending on the needs and preferences of the individual. Living in their own apartments enables these men and women to utilize skills they have mastered, while they receive support and assistance in areas such as community membership, relationship building, self-advocacy, functional academics, vocational adjustment and activities of daily living.
